Sab de andar Saadhu mera, main bhulava kis tara
My Guru lives in every heart—
how could I ever forget Him?
Hardum andar saadhna karda, amar shabad ban jistarā
He meditates within me, always—
the immortal Word takes shape within.
Jeh koi kirt karam nu javai, tah tah Saadhu naal saddāvai
Wherever I go, in every deed—
He walks beside me, breath by breath.
Vah vah Saiyaan, main auganhaara—guna da ant na istarā
Wondrous are You, O Master—I am full of flaws,
yet Your grace knows no bounds.
Sab de andar Saadhu mera, main bhulava kis tara
My Guru lives in every soul—
how could I ever forget Him?
Amar bhog kare din rāti, avgat ki gat Gurmat jāthi
He enjoys the feast of Truth day and night—
His path reveals the unseen mystery.
Sakhiye ni, main Saadhu pāyā—saadhna karda istarā
O my friend, I have found my Guru—
this alone is my true meditation.
Sab de andar Saadhu mera, main bhulava kis tara
He dwells in all—
how can I turn my gaze away?
Sakhiye Noori faujā vāla, gal Nooriyān di pāye mālā
O friend, He comes with radiant hosts,
garlanded with luminous souls.
Chilmil chamakā shobha chhāī, Saadhu mera istarā
He shines with dazzling grace—
such is my Beloved Guru’s form.
Sab de andar Saadhu mera, main bhulava kis tara
In every being dwells my Guide—
how could I forget such light?
Je koi sakhiye kardi heela, Saadhu bājh na koi vasīlā
No scheme of mine can reach the Goal—
without the Guru, there is no way.
Pāp karaja bhagati usdī, hardum hazir istarā
Even in sin, His grace is near—
He reveals His closeness, ever-present.
Sab de andar Saadhu mera, main bhulava kis tara
The Guru dwells within all—
how can I forget the Infinite?
Tur to thakke, lainda charnī, hardum usdī nirmal karnī
Wandered and tired, I found rest at His feet—
His deeds are ever pure and radiant.
Nirmal karam hai Saadhu vāla, nirmal karda istarā
His actions cleanse the soul—
each breath under His gaze transforms me.
Sab de andar Saadhu mera, main bhulava kis tara
The Guru breathes through all—
how could I forget even for a moment?
Sakhiye ni, je Dozak sutai, thāvī sevak sīs na chuke
Even if cast into hell by the Guru’s hand,
the true servant will not bow away.
Chuke sīs ta javai kidar, hardum sāthī istarā
Even should one turn their head—where would they go?
The Guru is with us, always.
Sab de andar Saadhu mera, bār vī dise istarā
He lives within, and appears without—
my Beloved is in all forms.
Tann mann pāpīān hat jāve, hun tā tenu ishq pūchhe
Let mind and body of sin step back—
for now Love alone leads me to You.
Sardār tā kāmala Saadhu pichhe, sadā sāhīye istarā
Mad with devotion I follow the Guru—
He is my eternal protector.
Sab de andar Saadhu mera, main bhulava kis tara
My Guru is in all beings—
how shall I forget such Presence?
Hardum andar saadhna karda, amar shabad ban jistarā
He meditates within, moment to moment—
becoming the eternal, unspoken Word.
